The JP16-T is made from flamed maple and stained in a chestnut color tone. The forearm features a frame of ebony with mother-of-pearl inlays, giving the cue an elegant appearance. The wrap consists of natural, unstained flamed maple, providing a natural and grippy feel. It is equipped with a piloted Speed Joint as well as a high-quality Juma joint material, ensuring a stable and precise connection. The cue comes with a Pechauer Jade medium leather tip, offering a well-balanced playing feel. The shaft features a Pro-Taper (12.75 mm tip diameter) and is designed for versatile use and high playing precision.

The long-established company J. Pechauer Cues was founded by chance in 1961 when Jerry Pechauer, the company's founder, won a defective Willy Hope cue in a bet and repaired it himself. What started as a sideline while Jerry was working in sales evolved into a fully-fledged company when his son Joe, aged 14, also built a cue. A partnership with Fred Mali then brought the brand international recognition.
