The shaft is made of ash wood, of highest quality. It has a high-gloss polished ferrule with a multi-layer leather tip of 9.8 mm and a stainless steel screw joint (Quick Release).
The butt in polished Canadian Birdseye Maple has inlays of white fishbone and turquoise ornaments framed in ebony. A 6 inch extension (minibutt) is also included.
